Presenting Complaint:-

Patient complains of pain in the knee joints while walking , climbing stairs and while sitting for long durations. Unable to walk for more than 15- 20 minutes due to pain in the knees.

Medical History:-

Patient had met with an accident 3 years back and injured her knee very badly. She was bed ridden for 3 months. After that she always had pain in the knee joints but it was tolerable. Now the pain has increased a lot and has become unbearable as it has started affecting her work and day-to-day functioning.

Ayurvedic approach:-

Patient was adviced to go for a few therapy sessions at our centre with some internal medication. Patient was suggested not to do much of physical work as it might strain her knee joints and was restricted from cold food and exposure to air conditioning.

Observation: –

After first few therapy sessions patient’s condition started improving. She felt much better as the sessions were going on. Her knee pain completely disappeared. Patient was completely satisfied. Patient was still advised to follow some restrictions and come for regular follow-ups.
